4 things that will make your world brighter
Here are four things you can do this week to make your world a brighter place
- Smile at everyone you meet and look them in the eye.
Yep it might freak some people out but that just makes it more enjoyable :).Seriously, do you ever notice how you can walk by people on the street, or get in an elevator with and they don’t even acknowledge that you are there? Did I engage my cloaking device and forget I had turned it on? Sorry, old Star Trek reference LOL A smile costs you nothing to give away. Don’t under estimate the happiness you can bring to someones day. It will make you feel better as well.
- Give everyone the benefit of the doubt, if only for one day and see how it feels. Did someone tick you off? do something that you find annoying or just plain rude? Don’t assume they are intentionally being a bone head. Chances are they are so caught up in the drama of their own life they are completely unaware of how they have effected you. And if they did know, chances are most people would do something to make amends. Or not. And if not, there is no reason to let it ruin your day.
- Do 30 squats followed by 8 push ups twice a day every day for two weeks. Then tell me if you don’t feel stronger in 14 days
- Breathe deeply every day. Take a deep breath in for the count of 10. Hold for a count of 20. Exhale for a count of 10. Make Sure you are sitting the first few times you try this, to make sure you don’t get a head rush or feel dizzy. Oxygen is powerful stuff and if you are in the habit of breathing shallow the increase of oxygen can sometimes cause dizziness. Deep breathing offers a host of anti-ageing and health benefits.
